Hypnotherapy

 

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help you achieve a heightened state of relaxation, in which you remain fully in control.

In this deeply relaxed state, you’re able to influence your unconscious or subconscious mind where your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, memory and behaviour patterns originate.   As this part of you becomes more open to suggestions and imagery it allows for positive changes to be made in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

In my career as a Clinical Hypnotherapist I have been able to help my clients overcome, or manage, a wide range of issues, including fears and phobias, anxiety and chronic pain. As a therapy it is often used in conjunction with other holistic approaches to address underlying psychological or emotional factors which can contribute to physical symptoms or behaviors.
