Clinical Aromatherapy

As a Clinical Aromatherapist I focus on a light form of massage combined with the therapeutic use of essential oils to promote physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.  Unlike traditional aromatherapy, which primarily focuses on relaxation and stress relief, clinical aromatherapy involves the targeted application of essential oils to address specific health concerns and symptoms.

Essential oils, which are highly concentrated extracts derived from plants, contain various chemical compounds that can have profound effects on the body and mind when used appropriately.  Selecting essential oils based on their therapeutic properties I create personalised aromatherapy blends and treatment plans tailored specifically towards your needs, these blends may be applied topically through massage, baths, compresses, or inhalation methods such as diffusers or inhalers.

Clinical aromatherapy can be used to support a wide range of health issues, including pain management, stress reduction, immune support, sleep disorders, respiratory conditions, skin ailments, digestive issues, and hormonal imbalances and integrates well into other complementary and conventional healthcare practices to promote holistic healing and enhance the body’s natural ability to restore balance and vitality.
